The Maternal and Child Health Service is aimed for families with children aged 0-5 years. As a continuation of our midwifery services, our maternal and child health service provides information, education, support and primary health care for mother and child.


What services do Maternal and Child Health Service provide?

  • Baby health check

  • Breastfeeding Counselling

  • Gentle strategies for sleeping difficulties and crying

  • Baby' s growth and development

  • Learn about play

  • Maternal Health

  • Wellbeing of the whole family

  • Access to local services and support groups

  • Information on family planning

The maternal and child health care service focuses on preventative health care. You learn about normal baby development, beginning solid food, nutrition, safety around the home and an experienced midwife will listen to any concerns you may have.
 

For professional and personal care book a maternal and child health care visit in your home or our midwifery clinic. By appointment only.

$75/hour

 

$75/hour plus $50 travelling fee

(please note travelling fee does not apply to the following suburbs: Camellia, Carlingford, Denistone, Denistone West, Dundas, Dundas Valley, Epping, Ermington, Eastwood, Harris Park, Kingsdene, Marsfield, Melrose Park, Oatlands, Parramatta, Rosehill, Telopea)
