I think my baby hiccups several times per day. They are strong beats that last for 3-5 minutes. I am wondering if this is completely normal. How can I prevent these and does my sleeping position/posture affect this?

Hi iyah80,
These hiccups are completely normal and as far as I know there's nothing you can do about them. I haven't heard that sleeping positions or posture can affect this. I think it's just a normal part of baby's development in utero. I know they can be annoying at times, but it's normal for baby to do this.
Warm Regards,
Kate
