My husband and I would also love to have a boy for our next child. I have a 3 yr. old daughter and having a boy the next time would be a wonderful gift for us. We are currently trying to conceive for almost a year now, but with no success :( I've also heard about this calendar that serves as a guide to determine the gender of the child. Like for example, if the baby is formed on a certain month it could determine the exact gender. Is this true? And one more thing, is age also a factor why I'm having a hard time to conceive now? I'm turning 39 this year.
I have just joined the forum and would like to get some more ideas of what foods to eat in trying to conceive a girl.
Welcome to the forum! I hope you find it to be a supportive, caring and informative community.
There are no specific foods you can eat to make it more likely that you will conceive a girl. However, you do need to make sure you are eating a healthy, balanced diet (and drinking plenty of water) when you are trying to conceive. It is also very important to take your Folic Acid supplements. Here is an article which I hope you will find useful on Planning for Pregnancy: Preconception Care.
