Frozen Embryo's life

Hi All,

I would like to know how long can an embryo be left frozen before it is implanted in a female? Also would there be any side affects to the baby later due to this frozen embryo implantation?

From what I've been reading, it looks like frozen embryos can stay viable indefinitely if frozen properly. I've read posts that said they knew of frozen embryo transfers after 10 and 13 years after the embryos were frozen.
