Pregnant with Twins?
My husband has an identical twin brother, and cousins who are twins too. Do twins skip a generation or is there a possibility that I'm carrying twins too?? At what point during the pregnancy do the cells split into two or create twins? When is the earliest time you can tell that you are having twins?

How far along are you Tara? It is possible that you are carrying twins, as having a family history of twins makes them more likely. Often you can tell if it is twins by ultrasound between eight to twelve weeks and palpitation by around twenty. Best of luck! Let us know if you find out it is twins! Such a sweet blessing.

Hi mom2many, I'm approaching my 13th week now. Met with our doctor a few days ago and she confirmed that we're not having twins (phew!). Thanks for the reply as always

Congratulations on your pregnancy; twins are a double blessing but very hard work.
