Hi all

Found this on the PBB website: What is Natural Childbirth?

I remember when I was younger and imagining the birth of children I was firmly convinced that the best 'natural birth' would occur in a private hospital with an obstetrician. It wasn't until I was expecting my first baby that my opinion began to change. Suffice to say, my first child was born at home with a private midwife.

I was lucky enough to encounter a midwife who was both knowledgeable and skilled, and respected my opinions while also being committed to providing me with the tools and information to education myself. As a result I actually moved from an uninformed choice to an informed.

Has anyone else undergone a radical change of heart during pregnancy about what they see as 'natural birth' and what they consider are the keys to achieving it?
