I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and have done well not to get too concerned with the whole listeria hysteria so far. However, I was recently reading online about a massive cheese recall by the Jindi Cheese Company in January this year due to contamination with listeria. I got my BFP at the end of Jan but over the Christmas/New Year period ate a fair amount of brie, in particular the Blue Cow triple cream brie which was one of the ones recalled on January 18. A week or so before my BFP I had the stomach flu (I was sicker than I had been in a long time!) I brushed it off at the time but am now worried I may have had listeriosis….

My question is, if I developed listeriosis around the time of implantation (or very early in my first trimester) would my baby be showing signs by ultrasound by now? I have had scans at 12, 20 and 29 weeks and they have all shown a healthy baby but I still can’t help but worry that I ate contaminated cheese and she will be born very sick. Thank you…
