I am in my early twenties and have been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. I am worried how that can affect my fertility? Thanks!

Apologies in the delay in replying to your post.
I am afraid that Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) can make it more difficult to conceive. However, the positive news is that many women who have PCOS do go on to have a baby it just sometimes takes them a longer to conceive and they may need some additional help to help them conceive.
I have recently posted some information about PCOS here including some further information links.
The reason that PCOS can make it harder for a couple to conceive is because it may stop a woman from ovulating. However, please do take heart that many, many women who have PCOS do go on to have a baby.
Please let us know if you have any further questions about this.
