Pregnancy is a time at which we can, and hopefully do, feel at our most womanly; our bodies beautifully changing each week as they adapt to accommodate the growing new baby inside us. 'To be pregnant is to be vitally alive, thoroughly woman, and undoubtedly inhabited' (Anne Buchanan & Debra Klingsporn). Of course, pregnancy can also be a time of: morning sickness, backache, difficulty sleeping and it is normal to sometimes be concerned about the changes that are happening and how our baby is. This does not change the fact that pregnancy is a life-changing time; a special time and a time when we are already sharing our life with our growing baby.

What did you do to remember your pregnancy? Did you take a photo diary of your pregnancy; recording the glorious changes in your body as each week went past? Have you thought about having a belly cast of your beautiful pregnant tummy? You can then decorate this yourself or perhaps get your family to help you. Some women write poems or letters to their baby whilst they are pregnant; this is also a powerful way to prepare for a positive birthing experience.

We look forward to hearing how you did, or will, remember and treasure your pregnancy.
