At what age is it safe to start putting insect repellent?
sometimes i put a insect repellent on my baby's skin is that bad?

From 2 months of age, you can use insect repellents on your baby that contain DEET. You should choose products which contain no more than 30% DEET in them for your baby. You can also purchase natural insect repellents (such as those containing Citronella Oil or Rosemary Oil). Note that products containing oil of lemon eucalyptus should not be used on children under 3 years old.
Many parents also find insect repellent nets on their baby's pram or pushchair helpful. You can also dress your baby in long sleeved, loose fitting clothing. This will help to protect them from the sun as well as insects. You can avoid taking your baby out in the early evening when insects are more common.

I had done when my LO was around two months. if you purchase a bug repellent to use on your baby, i would recommend using a natural repellent
