I am overweight. Does that mean I dont have a capacity to bear a child? I really want to have babies.

Being overweight does not mean that you will not be able to conceive but it does mean that you may find it more difficult to conceive. Being overweight is unfortunately a known cause of infertility. It is also a symptom of a syndrome known as PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). With PCOS a woman will also have irregular periods and will often have problems with hair growth.
Are your periods regular?
It is your BMI (body mass index) which is important in pregnancy - do you know what your BMI is. Here is a BMI calculator if you are unsure.
