My son is almost two years old and my husband and I are looking to start conceiving again. My blood pressure went up with my last pregnancy and the midwife didn't believe that I would be a good candidate for home birth. That led to a rough hospital labor with more interventions than I would have wanted.

Bub was born weighing 3,750 grams and healthy as could be at 42 weeks. My blood pressure did not go up during labour and everything went well with out complications.

Would I be a good candidate for home/water labour in the future? What can I do with another pregnancy to stop my blood pressure from going up?

Thank you very much for your help!
