The right way to discipline a toddler.

    Hello,

I know a couple who has a 4-year old daughter. I can see that they just let their child do whatever she desires, even if it already hurt other children. Their reason for not disciplining their child just yet is because she is still a "baby", and she still doesn't understand what she is doing.

I believe they are doing the wrong thing. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

    workingmum,

I hear that you are very concerned about the behavior of your friends child. As a mother, It is very difficult to find boundaries between other mums and babes when It comes to discipline.

Many times, we as mothers can not correct someone else's child. That is up to that child's care giver.

The best thing that you can do is read up on appropriate ways to handle situations like these and offer gentle loving advice to your friend.

Here is a great article by Dr. Sears, an amazing figure who believes in gentle parenting and offers really great advice for parenting.

I do believe that you will find some great advice in this article.

Let us know how it goes.

    Blessings
