Fear of vaccinations, especially needles!
Any advice from you other mums on how to cope with a child who is terrified of needles?

I'm sorry to hear about your child's worry. How old are they?
I would recommend taking a gentle approach and having some story books which explain about characters getting injections and how this process was a quick and easy one. If your child is old enough they may also find a book which simply explains the reasons behind vaccinations helpful (a child even as young as 4 or 5 may benefit from this).
You can also have a play doctor's kit and use role play to help explain what happens at the doctor's surgery and to talk through the emotions your child is feeling.
How does your child react currently?
