    Breastfeeding concern

    Are you meant to clean your nipples/breast every time you breastfeed?

    Hi Mum2be,

    Thanks for your breastfeeding question.

    No you don't need to do this. Breastmilk is naturally sterile and it is an excellent moisturiser. You may find it helpful to gently squeeze a few drops of breastmilk onto each breast after each feed to keep your nipples nice and soft.

    How long have you been breastfeeding for?

    Mum2be,

    Our breast are amazing organs. Our body keeps our breasts naturally clean and ready for baby. How amazing is that?
