    Vac for viral infection

    Hi,

This month, my son had high fever two times. We brought him to his paediatrician for check up and both times we were told that it's because of "viral infection", that I don't really understand where it came from.

Is there any vaccine available to avoid this type of virus? I am so afraid that when my son is well, he will have that infection again.

    Thanks!

    Mummy Karen

    Karen,

I hope that your little one is feeling better now.
A viral infection is a disease that can be caused by different kinds of viruses, of which the influenza-virus is best known. A viral infection can be in different places in the body, some viruses are mainly in the intestine, as well as the lungs and airways.

Their is not vaccine for most viral infections.
The key is to strengthen your child's immune system.
Here is a great link to a video on how to boost your child's immune system:

Follow the suggestions in the link above and rest assured children will be sick often, all a normal part of childhood.

Peace and healing to you and your family
