    Older mom pregnant again

Hello everyone. I am new here. I am 40 years old and I currently have 4 children (ages: 11,13,15,18) and a Russian exchange student (age 19). I had my tubes tied 11 years ago and just found out that I am 7 weeks pregnant. I am very worried, nervous, scared.....

My children are all very upset and resentful of having another baby. They feel it is going to interfere with their lives and they are being very selfish. This is making things hard on me.

I hope I can get answers to all my questions from others who may have experienced this. It is hard to have older children and now start over again when I feel like I have negativity coming at me from everyone in my house (except hubby).

    Thank you,

Great to have you here, and congratulations on your pregnancy. I do hope that you can find some mom to mom support to help you through this difficult time in your life.

I am sorry to hear that your family is not being supportive of your pregnancy. Do know that it is not your fault, you have done nothing wrong and everything right by sustaining your pregnancy this far.

You have done what is best for you and your situation and I applaud you for that.

I highly suggest that you seek out the care of a midwife, she will be your best support during this pregnancy.

I look forward to getting to know you more here in the forums.

I am a mom of 5 children myself.
