    Toothbrushes

I recently read that toothbrushes actually carry a lot of germs. How do I make sure that my child's toothbrush stays clean?

    Hello,

Good question. Dentists recommend that you change your/ your child's toothbrush every 3 months. You shouldn't use a cap that covers the bristles but let it dry in the air for the majority of the time. Rinse it with water after you use it. You can also get a sanitizer device if you are particularly concerned about this but there's limited research on them at the moment.

    Happy brushing!
