Is it safe to breastfeed while pregnant?

I'm new here just to ask something wish you could help me. Is it safe to breastfeed while pregnant? Because some one told me its not good.

Hi Raish,

Many mums breastfeed their infants/toddlers while pregnant. It's called tandem breastfeeding.

Hi Raish,

You may experience a dip in supply, but as Kate said, many mums breastfeed throughout the duration of their pregnancy and it is perfectly safe. Congratulations and good luck!

Breastfeeding during pregnancy is not harmful. As mom2many said you may experience a dip in supply. Also you may experience nipple soreness. Some toddlers wean themselves when their mother falls pregnant. Others continue to breastfeed quite happily.
