Atopic dermatits
Hello there,
Can anyone here give me understanding on this....
Is it the red scaly skin on the cheeks of new born babies?
Is this as same as skin asthma? Any information please.
What can mum do about this?
Thanks.

Atopic Dermatitis is also know as Eczema. Eczema is an inflammatory condition that can often be helped by taking Vitamin C, Essential Fatty Acids and avoiding irritants like perfumes and dyes which are common in laundry soap.
If a breastfeeding baby has eczema, mum can take Vitamin C and flax oil or cod liver oil (which contains essential fatty acids) and baby will get this through the milk.

Hi.
Thank you for the reply. What can be done if the baby is no longer breastfeeding? and already taking Vitamin C daily. Is there a cream that can apply to affected area?
Thanks!
