Thumbsucking - Tried every method to stop but failed

My son not just suck his thumb but at times he even put his entire hand to mouth. Many times he even start chocking since he reaches his throat. I have no idea what to do in order him to stop this habit or should I just not bother on this. Guide me.

I wouldn't be concerned about your baby gagging when he puts his hand in his mouth unless it makes him throw up often and he's not getting enough nutrition. Babies typically don't do this often and they learn that putting the whole hand in the mouth will cause the gagging reflex.

He doesn't throw up.. from now I'm not going to get concerned about this. As said by you often he doesn't put his whole hand in mouth.

I would just leave it be, it is a comfort technique. He will grow out of it in due time.
