risks of pregnancy :(
Hi, at the age of 38, what are the risks of pregnancy for women and what would you advise to optimize our chances of having a healthy baby?
Thanks in advance.

I would definitely encourage you and your husband to start a preconception care program.
Your husband may not have to do as much as you (he could probably eat more fish than you can) but it would be good for you both to eat more vegetables, including some green smoothies, and eat high quality protein. Avoid sugar and simple carbohydrates, and be sure you're getting good essential fatty acids. The EFAs can be taken in the form of cod liver oil or flax oil.
Please post back if you have any specific questions.
Warm regards,
Kate

I just gave a detailed response about what you can do to increase your chances of getting pregnant and decrease your chances of having a miscarriage. You can find it on the chances of pregnancy thread.
Please post back with any questions! We're here to help.
