Australian College of Midwives
The Australian College of Midwives (ACM) is a national, not-for-profit organisation that serves as a peak professional body for midwives in Australia.

Australian Private Midwives Association
The Australian Private Midwives Association represents midwives in private practice. The association is focused on the safety of women, the ability of women to access quality midwifery care across Australia and the partnerships between women and midwives.  APMA supports women’s choice in maternity options within a framework of quality and safety and believes in women being able to access midwives in all settings.  APMA unites all midwives seeking to provide continuity of care for women.

Australian Society of Independent Midwives
The Australian Society of Independent Midwives is made up of midwives and midwifery advocates committed to supporting women’s birth choices and continuity of care.

Community Midwifery Program
The Community Midwifery Program provides women and their families in the Perth metro area of Western Australia with the continuous care of a registered midwife throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period.

Maternity Coalition
Maternity Coalition (MC) is a national consumer advocacy organisation committed to the advancement of best-practice maternity care for all Australian women and their families.

NSW Midwives Association
The New South Wales Midwives Association is a professional organisation of midwives and associates concerned about issues which affect the practice of midwifery, its promotion in the community and its advancement as a professional discipline.

Community Midwifery Program
The Community Midwifery Program provides women and their families in the Perth metro area (Western Australia) with the continuous care of a registered midwife throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period - for women who choose to birth at home or in hospital if necessary. The Program is funded through the Department of Health Western Australia and incurs no cost to the client other than the medical fees of back-up doctors.

International College of Spiritual Midwifery
The International College of Spiritual Midwifery aims to awaken the spirit of midwifery and promote its art. We aim to provide the opportunity for women to undertake the journey to freedom, through information and making fully informed choices.

Association of Radical Midwives
They are midwives, student midwives and others in the UK committed to improving the maternity care provided by the National Health Service. The strongly believe that all women have the right to a service tailored more closely to their needs, and a sympathetic attitude on the  part of their professional attendants.

Independent Midwifery Association
Independent Midwives are fully qualified midwives who, in order to practice the midwife's role to its fullest extend, have chosen to work outside the National Health Service (UK), although they support its aims and ideals. The midwife's role encompasses the care of women during pregnancy, birth and afterwards.

MIDIRS Midwifery Digest
MIDIRS Midwifery Digest's site explores there services in detail. Also included is latest midwifery news. Of particular interest to members is the ability to do unlimited literature searches on line for a small additional cost on top of membership fees.

Midwifery Today
Midwifery Today publishes 'Midwifery Today Magazine'. An excellent resource for pregnancy, birth and midwifery information. You can also subscribe to the free E-News (weekly electronic newsletter). This site provides extensive information on midwifery.
