If you plan a hospital birth, one of the most important decisions you will make during pregnancy is which hospital you want to go to. Considerations might include: whether the hospital is public or privately funded, whether it has a birth centre, whether it is Baby Friendly Health Initiative (BFHI) accredited, and what specific options they offer to birthing women and their support people.

In this section, PBB provides details of all ACT Maternity Hospitals to assist you. Below the contact details for each hospital, you will find a Find Out More Button, which will take you through to a wealth of information about your chosen hospital.

These details include a description of the hospital, answers to FAQs, a broad range of information on the facilities available, and labour and birth statistics to help inform your choice. Virtual video tours are also provided, and a photo gallery which we invite you to add to if you wish.
